Some of what I will present here will take some spiritual
maturity and discernment. I pray that you stop at this point and ask yourself a few
simple questions:
- Do you seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness, or are you
looking to justify your status among the world? This is very
important. In Hosea (4:6) we are told "My people are destroyed for
lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also
reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast
forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children." We
are given the knowledge, but because we want to do things our way, we
reject the knowledge.
- Do you love the Truth? Jesus said "...I am the way, the truth,
and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." (John
14:6). The Apostle Paul tells us "And with all deceivableness of
unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of
the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall
send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they
all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in
unrighteousness." (2nd Thessalonians 2:10-12) You can't have it both
ways. Do you have pleasure in unrighteousness? With the
scripture above (the message is repeated throughout the Bible) we clearly
see we must receive the love of the Truth - that Truth being Jesus
the Christ - or we will be lost in delusion.
Start with the "Render unto Caesar" button to the left, then work your
way down the list. Stop and pray often. Ask the Lord God to help
you receive the love of the truth, because if you don't receive it, you will
not be saved. |
